As a kid, constantly. I read when I was supposed to be vacuuming or doing the dishes. I read in class when I was supposed to be paying attention. I also once was walking and reading, which I was generally very good at, and ran into a school bus mirror at exactly the wrong height. Gave myself a mild concussion. I wish I could say that I had learned from that, but I still do it 30-odd years later.
